Ti-ratana penchala recently went on a donation drive and collected from our an amount of RM3000 for the tsunami/earthquake victims of Japan.This can be made possible from the compassionate hearts of all donors.
The collections came from our F & B Club's, Thai cooking demo.(this demo was a full house attendance and we decided that the fees collected to be partially donated to this cause.
The cooking demo class not only have fun learning, experience new recipes but was also a charity activity for all.
Cooking demo is organised once a month and funds goes to support our centre's maintenance, meals on wheels and triple gem program.
On top of it all, we have a good samaritan who donated to us beautiful gift wrapping papers which were sold on that day @ RM10 for 10 pcs (we still have more,those interested to purchase,come to our centre to check it out). And our volunteer Ms Yin Mei has helped us to sell plenty to her friends...SADHU to all who made the purchase.
Finally we give our 'donation box' (which was place in our shrine hall and many of drop into the box your cash willingly).....BIG SADHU to all .
We have send the funds through Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur at Taman Seputeh and the cheque was received by Santoku Tomohisa - Executive Secretary.
