On a special request from our Ti-Ratana Community Centre Klang Meals on Wheels went for a food drop off to Kapar Klang in a Tamil school. There were100 over indian community from everywhere around the surrounding pockets of estates in Klang.
All volunteers gathered at center from 7.30am to start preparing, washing, cooking & packing right till 10.30am.It was laborious for volunteers ensure quality home cook food cooked with a lot of loving kindness. We pay homage to the Triple Gem & dedicate our merits before leaving for Kapar, Klang.
We had to unload and give away the food in a frenzy but the volunteers work with great speed and efficiency!
It was very gratifying seeing all the food recipients finished their food and even taking the container.
Volunteers were exhausted but all ends well with opportunity to partake in such a meritorious event.
Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the kind donors, supporters & volunteers in making this possible.
And our special thanks to Andrew & Ms Jingle Kon who have been providing continuously donating the vegetables for us to cook up a good & nutritious meal. And not forgetting our "captain" Steven & wifey who was heading the team last week.
